College Football Picks - Week 12

Last week's Elimination Saturday went well for several teams and not so well for a few others. Alabama, Auburn, Miami, Oklahoma, and Wisconsin survived. (For another week at least...) Georgia had a setback, but still has a shot at the College Football Playoff (CFP) if they can win out and beat either Alabama or Auburn in the SEC Championship. Notre Dame and TCU have two losses now so while they can still have great seasons, their CFP hopes are all but gone. It's been a wild three weeks in College Football, but this week won't be nearly as fun. Alabama, Auburn, and Clemson are taking their annual pseudo-bye weeks where they play lower level teams to avoid a loss before Rivalry Week. Miami, Oklahoma, and Georgia play conference games, but all will be huge double digit favorites. That leaves Wisconsin as the sole contender on upset alert this weekend. The Badgers host the Michigan Wolverines in an absolute must-win game for Wisconsin. Michigan, despite, a couple losses earlier this season, has won three in a row, and the Wolverines are very much alive for the Big Ten East division title. With both teams still playing for the Big 10 conference championship, it makes sense that ESPN's College GameDay will be heading to Madison for that game. It's a noon Eastern kickoff so plan accordingly. And even though the schedule looks a little unsatisfying this week, there are sure to be surprises somewhere. From the Group of 5 to the Power 5... All the commentary, previews, and picks that you need are right here!

College Football Picks - Week 11

The last two weeks have been spectacular in college football.  But the best is yet to come.  It starts with a Friday night edition of #Pac12AfterDark when Washington goes to Stanford for a game that means everything in the Pac-12 North and it's a game that Washington has to have if the Huskies want to stay alive in the College Football Playoff (CFP).  Saturday features six "ranked versus ranked" matchups, including the Deep South's Oldest Rivalry:  Georgia at Auburn.  Georgia was ranked #1 in the CFP Rankings that came out this week, and you can read them here.  But Georgia must continue to win and it won't be easy in Auburn this Saturday.  That's an afternoon game, as is Wisconsin-Iowa.  Like Georgia, Wisconsin must win here to stay alive in the CFP race.  Then there are three can't-miss Saturday night games in prime time.  Alabama has to go to Mississippi State, which could be tricky.  TCU goes to Oklahoma, and Notre Dame goes to Miami.  Both of those games are absolutely de facto playoff games.   The winners will continue to contend; the losers will play for New Year's Six bowls, but not the CFP.  Now let's get ready for Week 11, including our game picks.  From the Group of 5 to the Power 5, all the commentary, previews, and picks that you need are right here!
